MTechLab has introduced MR.Brain-Edu, a brain-education kiosk on which visitors explore real MRI brain images and a 3D brain model by touch. The launch was reported by BioTimes on 21 September 2026.
MR.Brain-Edu is educational and exhibition software that lets general visitors handle MRI images and brain structure directly instead of only looking at them. Visitors swipe through MRI slices, explore a brain region map and a 3D model, and check what they have learned through missions that ask them to find brain structures.
The kiosk runs on Windows without an internet connection and supports Korean and English. After a period without interaction it returns to its start screen, so the next visitor can begin without staff resetting it. It is designed for science centres, museums, libraries, universities and schools, health-education spaces in medical institutions, and public exhibition halls.
MR.Brain-Edu builds on 뇌를 탐구하다, the general-audience book by CEO Hyeon-Man Baek, extending the book from reading into seeing and touching. It is educational and exhibition software, not a medical device, and it is not for diagnosis.
The basic set is the MR.Brain-Edu software, a touch monitor and a mini PC. Installation and pricing are quoted for each institution.
