fMRI Analysis

Full-pipeline functional MRI processing — from raw BOLD data to activation maps and connectivity matrices — with a GUI-driven workflow that requires no scripting.

Module Overview

The fMRI Analysis module covers the entire processing chain for both task-based and resting-state functional MRI studies. A guided wizard walks the user through study design specification, preprocessing options, and statistical threshold settings, producing publication-ready statistical maps and an automated report.

    Task-based activation mapping: GLM-based analysis with standard HRF convolution, flexible contrast definition, and thresholded statistical maps (FWE, FDR, cluster-based correction)

    Resting-state functional connectivity: seed-based correlation maps and ICA-based network extraction for default mode, salience, executive, and sensorimotor networks

    Automated preprocessing pipeline: motion correction, slice-timing correction, field-map distortion correction, smoothing, and nuisance regression — all configurable in the GUI

    Group-level analysis with random-effects models; outputs compatible with standard neuroimaging viewers (FSLeyes, ITK-SNAP)
