No protocol changes are needed. Simply position the pad on the target anatomy and run your existing sequence without modification. The improvement in B1+ field homogeneity happens passively.

Yes. All MTechLab dielectric pads are MR Conditional and have been tested per ASTM F2503. They are safe for use in MRI systems at the field strengths listed on this page.

Yes. We regularly manufacture pads for non-standard anatomies, paediatric patients, and research applications. Contact us with the target circumference or dimensions and field strength — we'll specify the right configuration.

Wipe with a standard MRI-safe disinfectant (IPA wipe or equivalent). Do not autoclave or immerse in liquid. The outer fabric is resistant to common hospital disinfectants. Full reprocessing instructions are available on request.

Higher-field MRI systems show the largest absolute SNR gain because dielectric effects are strongest at higher frequencies. Lower-field systems also benefit significantly, particularly for deep anatomy. Ultra-high-field research systems see the greatest percentage improvement.
